ICOM IC-A 15S with simple keyboard
Tough, compact, easy to use and high speaker output volume!
700 mW* output Because aviation radios are normally used in places with high environmental noise high loudspeaker output and good readability is crucial. The IC-A15 and IC-A15S use TL-amplifiers that have double audio output and enable clear reception even in the cockpit or on the tarmac. *for the integrated loudspeakers
The IC-A15S has only four keys so it is easier to use by e.g. ground personnel.
Small, light and in a strong case.
All IC-A15/S-Series radios are very handy and very light with only about 350 g*. They comply with IPX4, so that they can also be used reliably in moist surroundings.

Lithium-Ion-Battery-Pack with large capacity. When operating the radios with the 2000-mAh-Li-Ion-Batt-Pack BP-232N, they last approximately 18 hours. If there is no full battery available the BP-261 battery case containing 6 AA-Alkaline-batteries can be used.
The IC-A15S has 100 memory channels
Charger BC-179 included in the package. The BC-179 charger is keeping the radio securely fixed even when shaken. If required the charger can be supplied via the car cigar jack and the CP-22 cable.
